It\u2019s time to roll up your sleeves and get (more) serious about your goals for 2020. Start by taking a step back and reflecting on the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. What were some big wins or highlights throughout the year?<\/li>

    All right, now that we\u2019ve got the wheels turning\u2026 take 60 seconds and jot down a few things you\u2019d like more and less of in your life in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This is a really quick and simple exercise so you don\u2019t lose the \u201cgut feeling\u201d as we set your goals for the next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2019 BUSINESS ASSESSMENT FOR 2020 GOAL SETTING<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Now that we\u2019ve covered the lifestyle aspect, we\u2019re going to get down to the nitty gritty of your business for proper goal setting. Let\u2019s assess how 2019 went for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. What was your top-line revenue each month? How much of that did you take home?<\/li>
      2. What drove revenue this month?<\/li>
      3. Where were you focusing your marketing efforts this month? Is there anything you\u2019d like to do better next year?<\/li>
      4. Overall, what worked well in 2019?<\/li>
      5. What didn\u2019t?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        It\u2019s crucial to have complete clarity around what you want your financials to look like a year from now, or you\u2019ll be holding yourself back. Let\u2019s \u201creverse engineer\u201d the revenue you need to pull in and make sure that you\u2019re getting those dollars into your jeans!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        (This will be super easy if you download thi<\/a>s<\/a> workbook<\/a>!)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. What\u2019s your current take home pay?<\/li>
        2. What is your goal take home pay a year from now?<\/li>
        3. What\u2019s the gap between those two numbers?<\/li>
        4. What\u2019s your current revenue?<\/li>
        5. What is your goal revenue a year from now?<\/li>
        6. And the gap?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Now let\u2019s peep back into 2019 and see where those dollar bills actually came from.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. What drove the most revenue this year?<\/li>
          2. Is scaling these products \/ services sustainable & bucket-filling for you?<\/li>
          3. What do you love & hate about each of these revenue-generating offers?<\/li>
          4. What generated the least revenue this year? Is it time to let go?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            From there, we can gather a pretty solid idea of where we should be focusing our efforts in 2020!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. What are your 2020 products & services?<\/li>
            2. Price?<\/li>
            3. How many sales do you want to make?<\/li>
            4. What\u2019s your revenue \/ take home pay estimate? Does this line up with your goal revenue?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              CAST A VISION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              How we spend our days is how we spend our lives. But here\u2019s the thing\u2014it changes overtime, but not usually in big leaps and bounds. Tiny habits run everything and have the ability to change the trajectory of your entire life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. Envision your life a year from now. What does a perfect workday look like for you? What about a perfect weekend? Who\u2019s with you, where are you, and what are you doing? The more detailed, the better.<\/li>
              2. Compare your perfect day with a typical day today – you\u2019ll be able to spot small habits that you can start instilling today to get yourself closer to your Perfect Day. (Start small, and work your way up!)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                PERSONAL AND SMALL BUSINESS GOAL SETTING <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Time for a brain dump! You\u2019re ambitious, we know, and we\u2019re really in goal setting mode now\u2014so let\u2019s write down every single goal that pops into your brain in the next five minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                What do you want to accomplish this year?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Pro tip:<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>Categorize your goals: health, finances, business, lifestyle, personal or spiritual development, contribution, and relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                MAKE IT HAPPEN<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Time to edit your list into something a little more manageable! You probably noticed some overlap as you were jotting down your goals. Let\u2019s refine that list into a few big goals<\/em><\/strong> for 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Narrowing your focus is what\u2019s going to get you BIG results this year! (It\u2019s like they say\u2026 how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Remember to make your goals SMART – specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, and time bound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Example of a goal that\u2019s not SMART:<\/em><\/strong> Start blogging. Get in shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Example of a SMART goal:<\/em><\/strong> I will increase my annual revenue by $25,000 by December 2020. I will host 50 episodes of my podcast by December 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
